Are your petroleum facilities impacted by Hurricane Harvey? We can help.

Hurricane Harvey has finally moved on following a devastating impact on our home state of Texas. With rain in historic proportions and flooding in so many areas at unprecedented levels – it was the worst storm in the history of the state.

As the remainder of the storm has traveled out of the region and owners and operators of fueling facilities in the affected areas are just starting to have the opportunity to assess the impact to their sites, it will be time to put together a plan to get the facilities back into operation.

How you do that depends upon the type of damage you experienced – and we can help you.

We have set up a web page devoted to helping operators determine what to do based upon the type and level of impact to the site, whether it’s minimal flooding, running out of fuel or the severe flooding we have all seen in the horrifying images on TV and online.

The information on this web page addresses many likely situations and the practices recommended by both Tanknology and the EPA to bring sites back into operation.

The Storm Recovery web page can be found here: Tanknology Services for Storm Recovery.

On this webpage you can also download the EPA's document, The Underground Storage Tank Flood Guide.

For immediate assistance with your facilities, you can call us at 1-800-964-1250 or submit this online request and we will be in contact with you promptly.

To all affected by this unbelievable tragedy, the thoughts and prayers of all of us at Tanknology are with you.
