Tank Trouble Tuesday

A fueling facility in Tanknology's Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed fluid dripping from ATG bung at a rate of about 3 drops each minute. The ATG bung and riser appeared to be bent and a white horizontal stain was observed around the tank perimeter.  One side of tank had small horizontal stains with no apparent source of ingress. Cosmetic blemishes were observed throughout the tank.
