A fueling facility in Tanknology's Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.
The TankCam inspection revealed oxidation and corrosion throughout the tank. Corrosion was seen on ATG riser and an spparent ingress of water was observed in ATG riser and near STP bung. Ripples caused by drops falling from near STP bung were observed during the test.
