Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 8,000 gallon, fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed several suspect areas including possible cracks in the tank walls. A significant amount of construction debris was seen on the bottom of the tank, along with residue along tank bottom.

Tank Trouble Tuesday



A municipal water facility in Tanknology's Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, aboveground steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.

The TankCam inspection revealed minor oxidation throughout tank and mild corrosion along tank seams and bungs. Corrosion was found on the bottom of the tank.

Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon,  fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed an active water ingress through a crack in the endcap. 
The inspection found residue, flaking and peeling throughout tank.
