Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Ohio Valley region requested a TankCam inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed corrosion on the ball valve riser. Multiple layers of liquid were seen in the bottom of tank and an unknown liquid was observed seeping from the side of tank. Condensation was observed on the tank ceiling.

Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Ohio Valley region requested a TankCam inspection of a 4,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held kerosene.

The TankCam inspection revealed that the metallic components of the tank exhibited light corrosion while showing that the tank bottom contained sediment and debris.

Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon doublewalled fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed minor water ingress along a tank seam. The inspection also showed debris on the bottom of the tank including gaskets and pea gravel. Condensation was observed on the tank ceiling.

Tank Trouble Tuesday


A fueling facility in Tanknology's Ohio Valley region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded. 

The TankCam inspection showed residue, sediment and debris on the tank bottom. A suspicious area near and endcap, resembling a possible crack, was also observed.
